Watch Bobby Jindal

January 16, 2008

In 8 years, we will see another republican presidential candidate labeled as a ‘populist’ by the fiscal conservatives.  He will be a southern republican governor that is popular in his own state.  But, one that has been attacked by bitter democrats in his state.  He’ll also be attacked by republicans because he won’t kowtow to any particular interest unless it is in the interest of the citizens of the state.  That includes the republican establishment.

Watch for him.

Not unlike Huckabee, Jindal will be the people’s governor.

We voted with our consciences today

January 16, 2008

Today, my wife and I voted for Mike Huckabee.  My wife was #84 at our poll.  I came home at lunch so she could vote.  I was #3.  I was there shortly after 7 am.  Disappointing turnout.  Disappointed in the result.

But, we won’t lose heart.  We will continue to support Mike Huckabee and make him #44.

As of 9:42, we are 2 of 596.
