Why We Need the FairTax

I just ordered my copy of TurboTax for $75.  I have two college degrees, both with honors.  I understand complex mathematical formulas.  Yet, each year, I spend between $75 and $200 to complete my returns.  And, I anxiously wait for an audit notice.

Why is that?  Because we have an insane tax law drives a $300 Billion industry.  Not only do we pay taxes, we pay people so we can pay taxes.

Political Nonsense

THIS is an embarrassment.  Michigan isn’t the only state guilty of this practice.  Our state has decided to comply with the law – one that prevents it from rewarding illegal behavior.

If I let my car insurance lapse, I’m going to get a ticket.  If an ILLEGAL alien applies for a drivers license, he gets one?  Instead of a One-Way Ticket to Guadalajara?

At the same time, the State’s new interpretation will prevent some legal immigrants from getting a license.  Ludicrous.

How about we start holding the politicians accountable for their stupidity.

Here are examples of Mike Huckabee’s leadership.  He doesn’t attack other candidates.  He doesn’t distort the position of other candidates.

Winghunter labeled Huckabee as liberal.  But, when challenged instead to list what his candidate has accomplished, no response.

So, if you want to silence someone, ask them about their candidate.  Be prepared to list bullet points about Mike Huckabee.  Be polite.  They get quiet real quick.
