Only this story wasn’t a joke. Why doesn’t the media hammer on this? I first saw this story early yesterday. By the end of the day, I couldn’t find it on the main news websites I visit.

Detroit graduates only 25% of it’s students. Is it any wonder this state is in trouble? Businesses will not invest in a state if the citizens cannot read. This story comes on the heels of the state legislature trying to put the squeeze on homeschool families.
