In my last post, I commented about my little brain. It reminded me of a series of books I read in junior high. It started with The Great Brain by John Fitzgerald. The book is focused on the exploits of The Great Brain, Tom Fitzgerald, and his Catholic family living in the heart of Mormon country.
A very fun book for a 10 year old boy. Try it out. Better yet, read it to your son or grandson.

Recently I posted about Mike Huckabee becoming Catholic. Now, this was done tongue-in-cheek. But, he does tend to follow Catholic doctrine. That said, many religious do. And, his religion is not really important to me. His beliefs are. That post brought me a lot of traffic, thanks to Kevin Tracy for throwing me a bone.
The long awaited release of Mike Huckabee’s new website put a new thought in my little brain. Mike Huckabee may be the right candidate to transform the republican party as the RNC chairman for the 2010 elections. He has the passion and message people want to hear. He will learn how to fund raise. And he will infuse the party with a high level of personal ethics.
At the same time, leading the Republican party to a successful mid-term election will go a long way to building support for the 2012 nomination if McCain loses to Obama.

You all know that I like Wattsupwiththat. He’s a clear thinker. And, he has a protege. A youthful, clear thinker.
I have written many times about the hysteria of global warming. When studying data, you must recognize that everyone’s ability to collect data is not equal.
Temperature measurement in chemical industries is particularly difficult. You have to make many decisions. Sometimes the most difficult to answer is what level of accuracy do you need? If you are separating two components with very different boiling points, accuracy is not that important. If you are measuring a reaction temperature that is critical to quality, accuracy is very important.
Take a look at how the GLOBAL WARMING data is being collected. If you think this data is credible, then you need to spend a little more time on Kristen Byrnes’ website or at wattsupwiththat
