Medically Necessary Abortion

A jewel you will find on this link.  Dr. C. Everett Coop, former U.S. Surgeon General, stated, “… in no way can I twist my mind to see that the late-term abortion as described is a medical necessity for the mother. It certainly can’t be a necessity for the baby.”

i think an abortion can be neccessary. Maybe not for the baby, but to keep the mother alive. it may sound selfish to you but what is the baby was going to take away a mother of four or five? what the mother was all the other kids had? if your mother was pregnant and the doctors told her if she had your little brother or sister that she would die? Would you choose your mother or sibling?

i thought you would chhose your mother.

Congressman Ron Paul, OB/Gyn, has said that he has never seen a case where the mother’s life was so threatened – where it was so clearly black and white. In all cases of pregnancies, the mother’s life is at risk.

You may not realize this, but, during that abortion, my brother’s life would be at risk.

Let me twist your ethical dilema for you. How is that question different than if your mother developed a terminal condition and the only way to save her life was to end the life of one of her children. I know what her answer would be.

Remember that an abortion almost always ends with a death – and it’s not always just the baby’s.

Oops. Shanesha, even though we disagree on the subject, thanks for stopping in and taking the time to comment. Diversity of thought and the freedom to share it is part of what makes America great.
